Tiffany Ash and the Jacksonville Symphony Bringing Positivity Through Music

Tiffany Ash, a Harvard University and Harvard Business School graduate, has always loved the arts and music. She has always sought to keep its influence in her life, which is why in her work as an executive to a local company, she continues to seek out the positive impact of arts and music to share it with others, particularly individuals who cannot afford access to this level of artistic performance. She came upon the Jacksonville Symphony in her efforts to look for more ways to introduce local people to the music and artistry she loves.

The Jacksonville Symphony is one of Northeast Florida’s most important cultural institutions. Founded in 1949, the Symphony is the community’s leader in music education for children, serving four county school districts. Part of their culture of musical excellence is to enrich the lives of others and the human spirit through their symphonic music. Just like Tiffany Ash, they are always looking for more ways to reach more people with their performances.

Tiffany Ash and the Jacksonville Symphony are determined to keep reaching people through beautiful music for the local community – no matter how many obstacles are thrown their way. Amidst the coronavirus pandemic, they want to prioritize the safety of their audience while still performing for them. This is why the Jacksonville Symphony started to livestream their performances of ‘Give My Regards to Broadway’ and ‘SHIFT: Kennedy Center Bound’. Now, with a ban on gatherings of 50 or more people, as well as the CDC’s recommendation of social distancing, the Symphony will be performing to be streamed live on the Symphony’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Even in trying times, the arts and music are crucial comfort to many in the local community. The Symphony’s performances, staged in the midst of the chaos and panic of these past few weeks, helped to provide a glimmer of positivity through the uncertainty brought by this pandemic.
