Tiffany Ash Talks About Becoming a Member of Jacksonville Symphony

Tiffany Ash has always been proud of how the Jacksonville Symphony. She makes it a point to watch their shows and to provide free tickets to audiences who cannot afford them. Here, she talks about her favorite group.

Who is the Jacksonville Symphony? Founded in 1949, the Jacksonville Symphony is one of the oldest and most important musical and cultural institutions in Florida. The Symphony is renowned throughout the country and has hosted outstanding artists in its history. It has played in illustrious venues like the Carnegie Hall too.

This year it has been selected as one of the four orchestras in the United States invited to participate in the SHIFT: A Festival of American Orchestras, which will be held in Washington, D.C.

Playing Their Part: Membership Tiffany Ash says that to support and fund its activities, the Jacksonville Symphony offers memberships to those who are willing to lend a hand. In exchange, the members get perks, which can make their enjoyment of the music provided by the orchestra and its other activities more worthwhile.

The perks depend on the amount of the donation. A donation of $75 will bring in the following benefits to a member:  10% off on single ticket purchases

 Free popcorn and soda during Movies Series concerts
 Donor-exclusive emails
 Admission to Sound Bites Open Rehearsals


As the amount of the donations increase, the perks become more exclusive. Tiffany Ash shares that a donation of $25,000 or more would qualify a member for the Conductor's Club Virtuoso, which entitles him to all the other perks enjoyed by all the other members plus a private meeting with the Music Director and the CEO of the Jacksonville Symphony.

The money donated to the Symphony will be put to good use. Aside from playing excellent music, the orchestra also teaches music to students in county school districts. Not only that, but they also give access to students to their concerts and performance with free tickets and discounts.

For Tiffany Ash, being a member of this orchestra is worth it. It supports a good cause that helps a lot of people.
